I’ve been doing my best to incorporate more personal narrative into my reviews. What better place to start than my review of Sonic Life by Thurston Moore? Moore’s early years in New York going to see his heroes Patti Smith, the Ramones, and the like during their club days reminded me of my own similar period in Tempe, going to see the Gin Blossoms or Dead Hot Workshop at Long Wong’s or the Sun Club with 100 or so other devoted followers in attendance. Feel free to put on your gas station attendant shirts and Chuck Taylors as you read
And thank you for the compliment about my writing. It means the world. I don't hear that every day. Also, no audiobooks for sale. I can't do it all anymore, but I love the idea of someone else stepping in to handle some of those things.
Ha! At least I didn’t say Chick Taylors!
Thanks for the review. I will put it on my reading list. I don't really know much about Sonic Youth, just the music

Thanks Art I love your writing.
Is it Chuck Taylors you are referring to?
I'm not familiar with Check Taylors, must be something the cool kids had....
Also do you have any audio books?
