My Review of Until August by Gabriel Garcia Márquez
Jeff Tweedy sincerely misses those heavy metal bands he used to go see on the landing in the summer.
I do, too, but I also miss the era when the ground of literature would shake every time a Nobel laureate such as Gabriel Garcia Márquez would drop a new title on us from on high.
The good news is, we haven’t heard the last of Márquez, whose slim new novel Until August comes out this month. I reviewed the title for Book and Film Globe. You won’t hear me complaining!
